“Apple Maps in iOS 13 is the biggest step forward the app has ever taken. With new and greatly improved maps, Look Around, collections, repurposed favorites, and more, a tremendous level of progress has been made to elevate Maps to new heights. It’s now a more legitimate Google Maps alternative than ever before.”

If you’re like me, you use an iPhone every day. Apple Maps is good, but if I’m being honest, Google Maps has always felt more accurate and seemingly more useful. After reading this story, and especially the linked story from Matthew Panzarino of TechCrunch, it appears that Apple Maps is about to leapfrog Google. For Apple users, this is pretty exciting stuff. Enjoy the read.
